It’s Love!

Sylvie has a knack for combining stamp sets and she is proving what an expert she is with today’s card.

Check out the cute bunnies from the Cute Butt stamp set, that are paired up with the car from the Beep! Beep! stamp set.

Sylvie layered the hearts on the card base by inking up the Whimsy heart 6*6 stencil twice with 2 different shades of pink.

RAWR for Valentines

The Fuzzy Monsters stamp set is full of fuzzy critters and the focus on today’s card by Julie Elak. This set may not be designed specifically for Valentines, but by selecting a pink and red color palette this set is now perfect for spreading some love.

Pink clouds were sponged on the slim rectangle mat using the Puffy Cloud Stencil. Then the Puffy Cloud Border Die set was used to add clouds to the top and bottom of the card. The fuzzy dog monster and the 2 bottom balloons are popped up with the YNS Pop Dots.

The Fuzzy Monster stamp and die sets are on sale right now! Grab ’em before they are gone!

Hugs and Kisses

Are you ready for Valentine’s Day? Sue Taylor-Hill has hugs and kisses for you today.

First up is the sloth from the Sloffee stamp set. This cutie is paired with the Heart Panel die. Sue added just a touch of glitter on some of the hearts in the panel.

Next up is a card where die cuts are the focus. Sue cut HUGS out twice, slightly offsetting the green on top of the gold to add extra dimension to the sentiment. A great color combo for any type of occasion that hugs are needed.

Hi Friends! My name is Susan and I LOVE to make cards.

I have been creative in some form or other my whole life but when I found cardmaking around 2012 something clicked and I’ve been making cards ever since. I am an equal opportunity card maker lol – which just means I don’t stick to one style of card.  Thankfully my husband understands my need to be creative because I even take card making supplies with us when we travel.

I am thrilled and honored to be guest designing for Your Next Stamp over the next few weeks. I hope you enjoy the cards I’ve made to share with you.

Susan’s first card features a trio of minis in a festive winter scene.

Susan used Prismacolor Pencils for the critters, oxides for the background, Tombow Dual Brush Pens for the lights and CPD for the holly.
