Hello My Crafty Friends!
My name is Cristina Raposo, aka Stampin_inthe_6ix and I’m from Toronto, Ontario Canada. I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for 35 years and we have two adult children and a beautiful granddaughter. I’m a fur mom to two adorable Chihuahuas named Chico and Winston. I’ve been a crafter for as long as I can remember but completely fell in love with cardmaking in 2009 and I’ve been addicted ever since. Most evenings you’ll find me in my happy place, my craft room, listening to music and making cards.
I love everything about this hobby including the amazing card making community. I’m very grateful, honoured and excited to have been asked to be a guest designer for Your Next Stamp. I hope my card creations inspire you on your card making journey.

Cute and Simple Blooms

Spring may not be here yet per the calendar, but it is on the YNS blog today, with 4 CAS cards from Julie Elak.

The Cute Blooms stamps are die cut and layered on top of framed stenciling. Cute and simple is the way to go when making multiples, or in this case a set of cards!

Now is the time to pick up the Cute Blooms stamp and die sets before they are gone forever! Each is on sale right now in the YNS Outlet.

Hi Friends! My name is Susan and I LOVE to make cards.

I have been creative in some form or other my whole life but when I found cardmaking around 2012 something clicked and I’ve been making cards ever since. I am an equal opportunity card maker lol – which just means I don’t stick to one style of card.  Thankfully my husband understands my need to be creative because I even take card making supplies with us when we travel.

I am thrilled and honored to be guest designing for Your Next Stamp over the next few weeks. I hope you enjoy the cards I’ve made to share with you.

Susan’s first card features a trio of minis in a festive winter scene.

Susan used Prismacolor Pencils for the critters, oxides for the background, Tombow Dual Brush Pens for the lights and CPD for the holly.

Fhiona Bee

Costume Fhiona is buzzing about on the card Karen Aicken is sharing with us today.

Karen mounted Fhiona on an action wobble, to give her movement and fortunately she is not a bee that stings!

Check out the inside of the card. The new Geo Fun Stencil adds a honeycomb like effect. Karen even stenciled a bit on the envelope.

With this stamp set, it is easy to dress Fhiona up as a variety of critters.

Wild

Laura Nehring is channeling the color green today!

The cute zebra from the Wild Birthday stamp set is set against a sentiment strip and designer paper filled with leaves.

The slivers of black behind each layer really pull Laura’s mini slimline card together. Check out the leaf from the stamp set that Laura stamped on the envelope.
