I Spy YNS Saturday – Thank You

This week we spied a card created by pam01523 on Instagram that is fun x 5!  5 notebooks that is…

learning

Colorful and cute, Pam really put the stamp set Spectacular Teacher to work.   From the sentiment on the banner, to the sentiments on the notebook covers, Pam effectively combined so many stamps.   This was not the only card Pam made with this set.   Here is a link to her Instagram gallery so you can see more of her colorful and cute creations!

I Spy YNS Saturday – A Deer

This week we spied a layered card topped by a deer from Handmade by Julie.

21.05.

There are so many layers on Julie’s card, from the mats to the banners.   The use of white throughout her card allows it to remain bright, with the deer from the stamp set Oh Deer as the focus.    More of Julie’s creations can be found on her blog here or Instagram.

I Spy YNS Saturday – Trucks, Aliens and an Astronaut

This week we spied a couple interactive cards created by Jennifer Murnane!

Jennifer really knows how to create a scene.    The trees create a wonderful frame for all 3 trucks from the stamp set Keep on Trucking.DSC_0632

Next is an alien filled creation with a different colored creature popping up at each fold.   The stamp set Space Boy is paired up with rocket patterned paper.DSC_0630

Jennifer’s  cards are perfect for the kiddos, with bright colors and smiling YNS stamps (of course)!

I Spy YNS Saturday – Hammies

This week we spied a water colored creation on Instagram by Vicki Murray-Moore where she goes by victoriamurray47.

Vicki’s card is full of color and hamsters!ispy

The water colored background is the perfect backdrop for the hamsters from the stamp set Hammie – Coffee and Tea.   Each hamster is colored up wonderfully – how cute are the white dots on each cheek?!

Be sure to check out more cute creations in Vicki’s gallery on Instagram and follow her here:  victoriamurray47.   We even spied photos of some real hamsters there…perhaps inspiration for Vicki’s card?   I hope her own hamsters don’t get in to that much trouble!

I Spy YNS Saturday – Woodland Cuties

This week we spied a couple of woodland creatures surrounded by birds on a card created by Tina aka tinneke_th on Instagram.

ispy 16

Tina’s card features a great mix of colors and creatures.   The fox and raccoon from Woodland Cuties take center stage with some of the birds from Word Critters Collections – Spring Birds overhead.  The shading on the animals is wonderful.   Note how the birds pull in the colors from the plaid to tie it all together.  Tina effectively creates a scene without a single tree or hill.

I Spy YNS Saturday – A Party!

This week while were out and about we came across a party on Instagram.

Amy Lim created this card with an animal and present filled scene.

The cuties from the Party Animals stamp set are colored up wonderfully with watercolor pencils.  Check out all the layering of stamps, there is just a bit of masking here to add depth to the scene.   Gotta love all those smiles everywhere too, from the presents to the cake!

Be sure to visit Amy’s gallery on Instagram found here a.lim.a.m, there is more cuteness to be found!

I Spy YNS Saturday – A Pup

This week we spied a card made by Eva Bussom on Instagram that has us rethinking what CAS is really short for.

PP287 Eva Bussom

CAS usually stands for Clean And Simple, but just for this post we are going with Cute And Sweet!   The pup from the stamp set Phoebe with her Wagon looks great set against the water colored background.  It creates such a subtle yet effective scene.   The 3 circle embellies lead the eye to the plaid mat which adds color and warmth.

Be sure to visit Eva’s blog “Eva Bussom” or check out her crafty creations on instagram for more inspiration

I Spy YNS Saturday – A Bug

This week we spied a bug filled creation on Instagram made by Kate Dykstra.   Not the creepy crawly bugs but the germ kind!

ispy

Kate’s card is colorful and creative!  What a great idea to create cell bars by pairing up the bug from the newly released set Call the Doctor with the Cool Tag One Die Set.   Such a fun card with the patterned paper she created with the bugs stamped multiple times.

Check out Kate on Instagram where she is known as smallbitsofpaper.
