Oh my goodness! I can’t believe it’s already September! This summer flew by and was full of adventure. I’m super excited to be back and can’t thank you all enough for your patience while we complete the new YNS Web Store. It’s almost complete and we are aiming to have it LIVE for our September release on September 16th! Be sure to stay posted for our Sneak Peeks!
Talking about sneak peeks…here’s a little peek into my summer FUN! I’d love to know what kept you busy the past few months! Feel free to share your adventures with me in the comments below.
Nothing like a morning coffee on the water
Judi and I enjoyed a few Sunset Paddles on the lake in our Kayaks
This little beaver made my day! He was so funny to watch!
My son Brandon and I had a blast at Canada’s Wonderland!
Enjoyed Drinks and Dinner with Friends
We rescued an injured butterfly (ignore the dirty water shoes)
We celebrated Christmas in July! Our Christmas tree has been up since last November. The kids won’t let me take it down until Covid ends…wonder if I’ll ever get to take it down?
I got back into shape. Fitness is a really important part of my life.
Last but certainly not least…I enjoyed the warm weather and worked mostly outside all summer on the new website and I hope you all LOVE it!
I look forward to hearing all about your summer adventures and I’m looking forward to sharing lots of FUN new products with you on September 16!

Today we are celebrating Pride Month. I truly believe what the banner above says…LOVE IS LOVE and when you find love your life changes forever and sometimes it’s in a different package than expected. Are you ready for my love story?
Over 2 years ago my husband and I separated; I was happy on my own taking care of our 2 beautiful children, the business and home until I met someone really special who changed my life and taught me what love really is…her name is Judi. I met Judi 19 months ago and I’ve been hiding this relationship for too long. Judi has shown me what it’s like to live again and we’ve survived a pandemic together which brought us even closer. She helped me rediscover the outdoors which I somehow forgot about. I know that may sound strange but I love hiking, biking and kayaking…I haven’t done these things in over 10 years.
It’s important to me to also mention that my kids love her. She has a 7 year old daughter who is best friends with my daughter Jessica, which has been a blessing through this pandemic.
It’s been a crazy year with so many emotions and with us living in what feels like constant lock down in Ontario. I’m so grateful to have someone so strong and loving by my side. I have to admit that I’m such a private closed off person when it comes to social media so sharing my story is a big step for me. Thank you for being here, thank you for reading this and thank you for allowing me to be me.

Have you ever just needed a hug or knew a friend was in need of a hug? The other day I was the friend in need and a friend of mine recognized this and they gave me the most awesome hug that I’ve ever experienced. I’m pretty sure it healed my heart instantly.
