I Spy YNS Saturday – Hot Cocoa

Boo!   Happy Halloween!

This week’s I Spy is actually not a spooky card.   Not scary at all!   In fact, this one scores off the charts on the cuteness scale.

The creation we spied this week may be clean and simple, but the results are super sweet and sure to make you smile!

Check out Tricia Traxler’s card featuring Hot Cocoa Phoebe

Tricia does a great job of breaking up all the white on the background with subtle water colored snowflakes – genius!!!   Even Phoebe was water colored with markers.  Oh my cuteness!   Doesn’t this card make you want to run out and buy some water color markers right now???!!!

We are always on the lookout for YNS creations made by YOU!   Keep on crafting and sharing.

I Spy YNS Saturday – A Cake

This week we spied a card featuring a cake – nom nom.   The cake may be pretty and fresh, with a sunny color combo and pearls to dress it up, but you definitely do not want to eat it.

Check out this creation by Anne Ryan.   The yellow chevron against the blue is striking.   The spray of pearls works perfectly with this stamp set, not overpowering it, the two look like they were meant to go together.  The stamp Anne used is being re-released soon as a clear set titled Wedding Bliss.

Be sure to check out more of Anne’s creations in her gallery.

I Spy YNS Saturday – A Baby Bunny

This week we have a sweet baby card to share with you!

While out and about we spied this adorable card by Martha Tucker.   Oh my cuteness!   Martha does a great job balancing all the white with the touches of blue and silver.  The bunny is colored up beautifully and the dots of white add whimsy.

Be sure to check out Martha’s blog, Trinity Rose Designs.   She even shares a video on how this cutie was colored. 15 - 2

I Spy YNS Saturday – A Train

Saturday is “I Spy” YNS day!    “I Spy” is a chance for us to put projects created by YNS customers in the spotlight!

This week we spied the most adorable train card created by Beverly aka KraftyAunt on SCS.  Beverly created this accordion style card featuring the Santa Express stamp sets and dies.   What fun with the glitter and mix of traditional and non-traditional Christmas colors.   The ribbon connecting each train is a great way to pull it all together!

I Spy YNS Saturday – Ssssweet and Ssssass

Last week we were celebrating the August release and missed our I Spy post.   To make up for it, we are sharing 2 fabulousssss cards today!

Bonnie Sharp created a sweet card featuring the bunny from Woodland Cuties.   The use of the circle as a frame is genius and the peeks of pink are perfect (try saying that 10 times fast)!DTGD15SweetMissDaisy_by_eggette

Irene Rhodes‘ card creates a sssstriking scene with the snake from Jungle Critters Two hiding among water colored grass.   The card space is filled perfectly using the rule of 3 and leaving a 1/3rd white.Dandi93_DTGD15vdutchr4_by_DandI93 (1)
