These past 6 years have been full of ups and downs, running a business isn’t easy…running a business while raising 2 kids is even harder but I wouldn’t change a thing! The ups definitely far out weigh any of the downs and I have my family, friends and all of you to thank for that! When I started YNS I never imagined I would meet so many fabulous people, I feel so blessed and honored that you have let myself and YNS into your lives and into your craft rooms. Thanks to your sweet emails and all your encouragement and support I look forward to going to ‘work’ every day! I appreciate you sharing your stories with me, they truly touch my heart! Most of all…thank you for using our products and for spreading joy all around the world by sharing your finished projects with your friends, family and even complete strangers that just need a little pick me up! I decided to make some cute 3×3 note cards for my project today. These were so FUN to make and I was excited to try out the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I’m not a water-coloring expert and I’m sure with practice my watercolor skills will improve but I must say these markers were fun to use and I had a blast making these colorful backgrounds and coloring up the Party Animals! Just for the record…I am not being sponsored by Zig…I’m just a fan :o)

This month we’re focusing on CASE the DT! CASE stands for Copy And Share Everything. It can be an exact duplication of one’s work or it can be modified using different colors, images, techniques etc… We’re proud to have such amazing talent here at YNS so we asked the DT members to pick a project that another DT member already created and then CASE it to create a new project for today’s feature day post. I think CASing is a great way to spark your creativity when you’re feeling a little low on mojo and can’t find a starting point for your own personal projects.
