In the summer I make my own blends of teas for ice tea. They are so refreshing! I start with a green tea base and add a mix of herbs, spices, or flowers. Or perhaps a little bit of all of them. Sometimes I add fruit. Depends upon what is fresh in the garden or from the farmer’s market at the time.

My favorite summer drink is a nice blended coffee. We make our own using frozen coffee cubes (that are made with strong coffee) regular ice cubes and some mocha powder a little molasses and milk all blended.. so delicious.
