I had a customer approach me last year asking me to create a baking stamp set geared towards different food allergies soooo I asked for some help from the uber talented Macy Wong and we created the Baking Buddies stamp and die set! Love it! We have some very strict ‘no peanut’ rules at our school so I used the adorable ‘school safe’ owl image to make a little treat holder for Brandon’s school friends. They all survived the grueling Grade One curriculum and are graduating to Grade Two so they deserve a little treat to celebrate! *grin*

Hi Karen, I love the new release, sushi is so popular right now it’s sure to be a hit! The woodland animals are so cute and the baking set is a great idea, specially for Mom’s sending in goodies for bake sales etc.

I am a huge fan of your stamps – but I do need to correct something. Peanuts are NOT the biggest allergy among school aged children. Also, the American Academy of Allergists (or whatever they are called) does not recommend peanut-free schools. As a parent whose children are allergic to other things, I can tell you that parents and educators who think peanut-free makes it safe are scary to me. Soap box over. As always, the cards from your DT are adorable.
Thank you for your honesty. I do understand that their are many different allergies out there, we just happened to focus on the peanut/food allergy for our baking buddies set. We have some very strict food allergy rules at our school (peanuts only being one of them) and we get letters every year letting us know the do’s and don’t for sharing food with school friends. Currently peanuts are the no no for my son’s class so I geared my project towards his school friends.
