Good morning Your Next Stamp friends!!!
Ruza here to share another way that you can use your Digital Stamps. They are not just for cards. Today I will share the products that were used to alter a store-bought canvas so that you can make one for yourself.
The first thing I did was print and color the adorable Digital Image called Sleeping on the Moon. Once printed, I colored the image with my Copic Markers and fussy cut the image, and put it on the side to use later.
I picked up a 4-pack of Artist’s Loft Color 8″ x 8″ Canvas Value Pack from Michael’s.
While there I also picked up paint and foam brushes.
I had the Mod-Podge already.
I applied 2 coats of the Deep Midnight Blue Paint to the Light Blue Canvas.
Once dry I added the stars and twinkles with the Buttermilk Paint.
As stated above, I used a foam brush to paint the whole canvas Midnight Blue.
Since I didn’t have a small paint brush I improvised and used the end
Here is the completed canvas as it’s hanging on the
wall in my craft room.
Digital stamps are just as versatile as regular rubber or clear stamps. You can make wall decorations, as shown above, or you can decorate a candle as I did for the May Release Bog Hop (see post here).
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope that I have inspired you to go outside the box and create something other than a card with your Digital Stamps.

Hi there!
We are so happy to have Jackie Randolph joining the YNS family as our newest digital DT member!! –

Jackie made this fabulous card to kick off her YNS debut!!
–>Hi, I currently live in Northern Kentucky with my husband of many years and our 14 year old grandson Hunter. I am a mom to four amazing children and a grandma to 6 beautiful grandsons and 2 grand-daughters. I´ve been crafting for as long as I can remember, dabbing in almost everything I could. I started with scrapbooking 18 years ago, then my oldest daughter shared the joy of stamping with a Stamping party and that was when I found my love of making cards. About 6 years ago, I enter the world of digital images and truly love the versatility they allow to be so creative with. I love altering different things, creating mini albums and creating one-of-a-kind gifts. I have met so many incredible & wonderful ladies through the blogging & stamping world, I am having the time of my life!!! I am so honored to be joining the YNS Digital Team and playing along with these amazing digital images YNS offers. –
My name is Anita and I live in a small town in southwestern Ohio with my husband and two dogs. We have a daughter and two grandchildren that live in the same town so I get to spend lots of time with my grandbabies! I was a painter for many years (watercolor, acrylic, pen-and-ink) and still paint occasionally. I started stamping and card-making a few years ago and I love it. I enjoy using copics, colored pencils, and distress inks and my favorite images are cute and whimsical. I’m so excited to be joining the talented YNS team!

Hi everyone! My name is Jennifer (but you can call me Jen) and I live in Ontario, Canada. I lead one crazy life: chasing after my two year old daughter, being a partner to my wonderful husband AND working full time in the Pharmaceutical industry. But, when that work is all done, I get to unleash my creative side in my craft room — making cards, stamping, scrapbooking or whatever other crafty things come to mind. I’m thrilled to be joining the Design Team at Your Next Stamp and I look forward to sharing my creations with you.

Yesterday we bid a fond farewell to our wonderful DT members, Linda and Sylvia, and also announced that the rest of the current DT are staying for another term! YAY!
TodayI have the pleasure of introducing 2 wonderful ladies who are going to join our YNS Design Team for the new DT term beginning March 1st! Please join me in giving a warm YNS welcome to Diana and Dana…
My name is Diana and I currently live in Missouri. I’m originally from New York so I’m a true City Girl turned Country Girl. I live with my true love Kelly and our 3 babies (kitty babies that is). I have been scrapbooking for over 8 years, and just about 2 years ago, I discovered my love for card making and stamping. I love coloring and creating. I do work a full time job, but evenings and weekends my crafty side emerges, and the rest is history. I’m so very excited about being on the YNS DT and honored to work with all of the talented ladies here.
Hi, I’m Dana and I have been stamping for over 12 years and enjoy every minute of it. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for almost 18 years and I’m the proud mom of two wonderful children (ages 20 and 15). I started stamping after attending a home party for Stampin Up and I haven’t stopped since. I love all kinds of challenges and love searching the internet for exciting new techniques. Right now I’m ga-ga over Copic Markers but I still enjoy using chalks, glitter, watercolors and other mediums. I can’t wait to get started on the DT.
Welcome ladies – we are super excited to have you join us!
So our full Design Team line up from March 1st will be:
We have lots of fun things happening here at YNS over the next 6 months! Look for my new YNS blog design very soon and then let the fun begin with a super cute March stamp release! Keep popping by to check out all the amazing DT creations, contests, new releases and much more…if you want to receive updates via email, please subscribe to the YNS blog.

Our new DT term starts on March 1st, and I am so pleased to say that almost all of our current DT have accepted their invitations to continue for another term – YAY! However, we are sadly losing 2 of our much-loved members, and so it is with great thanks and good wishes that we bid a very fond farewell to the wonderful Linda and Sylvia.
To send them off in style, here are just a few of their amazing YNS DT creations:
Thank you Linda and Sylvia for all your hard work, dedication, friendship, laughter and talent. You have been fabulous Design Team members, and we are all going to miss you greatly!
