Digital Stamps are not just for cards …

Good morning Your Next Stamp friends!!!
Ruza here to share another way that you can use your Digital Stamps. They are not just for cards. Today I will share the products that were used to alter a store-bought canvas so that you can make one for yourself.

The first thing I did was print and color the adorable Digital Image called Sleeping on the Moon. Once printed, I colored the image with my Copic Markers and fussy cut the image, and put it on the side to use later.

 I picked up a 4-pack of Artist’s Loft Color 8″ x 8″ Canvas Value Pack from Michael’s.
While there I also picked up paint and foam brushes.
I had the Mod-Podge already.
I applied 2 coats of the Deep Midnight Blue Paint to the Light Blue Canvas.
Once dry I added the stars and twinkles with the Buttermilk Paint.
As stated above, I used a foam brush to paint the whole canvas Midnight Blue.
Since I didn’t have a small paint brush I improvised and used the end
of my Quickstick to make the stars and twinkles.
Once the paint was completely dry, I attached the Sleeping on the Moon
image with a coat of Mod-Podge.
The canvas was still wet when I took this photo.
Here is the completed canvas as it’s hanging on the
wall in my craft room.

Digital stamps are just as versatile as regular rubber or clear stamps. You can make wall decorations, as shown above, or you can decorate a candle as I did for the May Release Bog Hop (see post here).

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope that I have inspired you to go outside the box and create something other than a card with your Digital Stamps.

Have a marvelous day!
