It’s Day 10 of our 12 Days of Gift Giving so I was excited to make some little treat bags using the new Scallop Topped Treat Bag die! This cute little bag is perfect for little treats and gifts for all occasions! I really should leave an empty bag out for my husband with a note saying fill with jewelry! lol

Here’s a tutorial to show you how I made my treat bags…

1. Cut out the Scallop Treat Box

2. Line up the smallest Oval on the front panel and cut out to create a little window

Glue a piece of clear plastic over the window to keep the treats inside the bag :o)

This is what it looks like before you tape it together – all you need is 2 lines of adhesive

Voila! You have a Treat Bag!

Decorate it with a cute bow and Gumdrop center :o)

These past 6 years have been full of ups and downs, running a business isn’t easy…running a business while raising 2 kids is even harder but I wouldn’t change a thing! I decided to make some cute 3×3 note cards for my project today. These were so FUN to make and I was excited to try out the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I’m not a water-coloring expert and I’m sure with practice my watercolor skills will improve but I must say these markers were fun to use and I had a blast making these colorful backgrounds and coloring up the Party Animals! Just for the record…I am not being sponsored by Zig…I’m just a fan :o)

I had a customer approach me last year asking me to create a baking stamp set geared towards different food allergies soooo I asked for some help from the uber talented Macy Wong and we created the Baking Buddies stamp and die set! Love it! We have some very strict ‘no peanut’ rules at our school so I used the adorable ‘school safe’ owl image to make a little treat holder for Brandon’s school friends. They all survived the grueling Grade One curriculum and are graduating to Grade Two so they deserve a little treat to celebrate! *grin*
