12 Days of Christmas – Day One – Comment to Win!

Happy December 1st!

Welcome to Day One of the 12 Days of Christmas!

We are kicking off the month with a series of posts to get you ready for the holidays.   Plus, we are giving away a $25.00 YNS gift certificate!   Want a chance to win?   Leave a comment on each of the 12 Days of Christmas posts.  The more posts you comment on, the greater your odds of winning.  We will select 1 random comment, among all the comments left, as the winner.  Comments must be left by Sunday, December 16th at 11:59 pm est and the winner will be announced on December 18th.

Julie Elak is kicking off the series and she is sharing a fun idea for dressing up a purchased candy container.

Looking for a fast way to add some fun to a can full of treats?   Grab some patterned paper and your favorite YNS Christmas stamps and get inking!

I started off with a can of yummy raisins that I wanted to pretty up for the holidays.

Take patterned paper, ribbon and add a card of sorts to the top, to turn it in to…

Cut out 2 circles, one slightly smaller than the other to match the top of the can.  Decorate as desired.   Create a card for the top by scoring the smaller circle and adhering the scored section to the larger circle.  The inside sentiment is from the Paw-liday Pups stamp set – humans love treats too and the sentiment fits with the can full of sweet treats.

So what will you be decorating this year?YNS Supplies: Merry Chris-Moose, Circles Die SetCircles with Stitching and Piercing Marks Die Set, Mint Cocoa Kisses 6×6 Paper PadPaw-liday Pups

Remember to comment and then stop back tomorrow when Cassie Tezak is taking over the blog!

Happy Stamping!
