YNS Challenge 14

Happy Wednesday!!!

It’s time for YNS Challenge #14 – YIPPEE!!! Our hostess with the mostest is Starlet Kerri and she has challenged us to use stitching on our cards and creations. You can get out your sewing machine, add some faux stitching, or punch some holes and use embroidery floss! There are lots of options!!!

I had fun playing with Mini Party Fhiona – she is just soooo cute! I decided to use my paper piercing tool to punch holes around the edges and hand stitched a silky pink embroidery floss all the way around. The sentiment Happy Birthday is from the Mini Greetings set and then I finished my card off with a sparkly doodle bug brad. The white background paper has a really pretty shimmer but unfortunately you can’t see it in the photo.

I hope you decide to join in all the fun over at the YNS challenge blog for your chance to win some YNS bucks!

I’m busy busy busy getting ready for ScrapFest this weekend! Word around town is that Starlet Amy will be stopping by the YNS booth on Saturday for demos and some fun make and takes! If you live in town I hope you stop by and say HI as I would love to meet you!

I adore this card, Karen! I love how you’ve used white as a background with those pink and blue accents – it really is stunning! I also love how you’ve stamped the sentiment straight onto the cardstock – I always hyperventilate when I attempt this so I don’t do it very often!! LOL!!!! xx

LOVE your stitching, Karen! Such a darling card with that sweet image, and sparkly heart! I’m with Simonne~stamping the sentiment directly on the card is always so scary LOL!!!

Love this mini Fhiona and the tilted scallop square! Seems like we all have the same fear about stamping directly onto the card! LOL
