Here is Martha’s first YNS card for November featuring the stamp set Love and Smiles…get ready to shake, shake, shake.
Hello my name is Jill Norwood and I blog at Greenwoodgirlcards.blogspot.com. I love to stamp and am beyond thrilled to be guest designing for Your Next Stamp! Thanks so much Karen and Designers for letting me join you for the month of November!
Here is a little info about me: I have been crafting in one form or another since I was a little girl and have always loved paper and fiber arts. I was married for 12 years to the love of my life Stuart, whom my son and I lost to brain cancer in 2012. It was during my husband’s long illness that I began to use my scrap booking supplies for card making and fell in love with stamping!!!! I made lots of thank you cards for the many angels who helped us during this difficult time. And in turn I became a part of this wonderful community of card makers and crafters who are the sweetest people in the world! My son and I live in Seattle, Washington and love the Pacific Northwest with all of its natural beauty. If I am not in my studio creating you can find me working at my son’s school, spending time with family and friends, playing in my garden, crocheting, or curled up with a really good book and a lovely cup of coffee or tea. I hope that you will be inspired by my projects! Happy Crafting!
Be sure to stop by Martha’s blog and Jill’s blog to say “hi” to each and check out all their creations. Stay tuned to see more of their work over the next 30 days.
Learning how to make shaker cards. Looking for thick double sided adhesive foam sheets. Not paper thin. Any ideas as to where To look. You site said to check YNS but nothing comes up. HELP please
Hi Hope! I get all my foam at the local craft store. The thick one is 3 mm. The regular is 2 mm and if that’s all I have, then I glue together 2 layers of the thin foam so the stuff can shake. I hope that helps!
