Design Team Q& A with Deborah

Hello everyone!! It’s another segment of the Design Team Question and Answer series.

Q1. Tell us about your family and where you live:

I am a mom to 12 year old twin boys and a wife to a very supportive Army officer who puts up with my crafting addiction. We’ve been married for 14 years and move about every 3 years.  We currently live in Virginia, but I am originally from California.  I work part time, but enough to fill my daily schedule in conjunction with my boys sport schedules. Somewhere in between being a taxi driver, doctor, chef, and personal planner/shopper, I craft.  Crafting and sharing my ideas make me happy!

Q2.  When did you join YNS?

I joined YNS about 2 years ago starting on the Digi team.  I was thrilled being on that team and I couldn’t have been more excited to have been asked to stay when it was combined to one team.  Being on the YNS design team has been so much fun and full of wonderful crafty ideas.  This team is so talented that I continue to grow just being able to create along side these wonderful ladies.

Q3.  What are your favorite YNS images?

Gosh… there are so many that I love, that when I think I know which are my favorite, I find others.  However, the Waddles sets are too cute to not be a favorite, Jessica images are super sweet, and I love anything with humor.  I do love CAS card making, so fun dies to create with I gravitate to as well.

Q4.  What are your favorite color combos?

This one is hard.  I do love soft colors that remind me of the beach, summer, or even ice cream.  The image I am working with tends to be my driving force in what I think would be a good color combo to work with.  If I am really stuck, I find some nice patterned paper and pull colors from that to create with.

This darling image is from the A’dork’able set.  She is super cute and just a perfect image for those bookworms in your life.  The glasses are a separate image in the set that doesn’t have to be used, but I stamped and cut it out to be popped up.
