Sewing on Cards

Stamp featured on this card is Spring Garden Robin

Joy here with a little lesson for you…Sewing on cards, don’t be intimidated!

I have always loved the look and now I can’t do a card or project without it.  I surely didn’t start out very well though, lol! I started with a Janome Sew Mini and then after I used it to it’s death (literally, it died from all the use, lol), I upgraded to a Brother I got at Wal-Mart for about $100 (and it has 49 different stitching options!). Sometimes, on cards, when I don’t sew a straight line, I am NOT going to throw the entire card away and start over….so I just  keep going so none of it looks straight and double the lines so it looks like I did it on purpose, WINK WINK!

Hope this helps lessen some of that intimidation, after all any WHOOPS on a card is just another opportunity for embellishing, right!?
