Still Waiting…

What’s that saying? Ah yes…

Good things are worth the wait! And yes we are still waiting for our website but that’s ok because it really is worth the wait 🙂

Our web developers are are working very hard to make it perfect. We’ll most likely see it up and running near the end of July – EXCITING!!!

Just thought I would update everyone and also let you know that we will be at Stampfest in Bancroft Ontario this weekend so if you’re in the area we would love to meet you!!!!

Last Sneaky Peeky!

So this is the last sneaky peeky I’m going to share before our Grand Opening 🙂 Isn’t he adorable!

I will be busy busy busy uploading all 50+ stamp sets we have along with all the super cool bling and fun card making supplies to ‘Your Next Stamp’ website store so the next time you hear from me I will have exciting news. WHOOOO HOOOOOO!!!!

Then I’ll be looking for Design Team members, setting up fun contests and much more! FUN!

I can’t wait for you to see our amazing website and for you to finally get to ‘shop till you drop!’ ok not litterly and yes we do have a shopper Fhiona stamp set 🙂 COOL!

More Stamps!

Another batch of stamps showed up this week and we’ve been cutting, cutting, cutting and bagging, bagging, bagging getting them all ready for your stamping FUN!

In between cutting and bagging I’ve been playing around with all the new stamps and these beautiful sunny days inspired me to make a Summer Fun tri-fold shutter card 🙂

Here are the instructions on how to create a Tri-Fold Shutter Card 🙂

Start with a sheet of long 12″ cardstock that is cut to be 5 1/2″ tall
Score at 2″, 4″, 8″ and 10″ (I use my Score Pal)
Turn the cardstock and now measure 1 1/2″ in from the long side. Use your craft knife and make a slit starting at the 2″ score and bring it down to the 10″ score mark. Make sure to do this on BOTH long sides.
Now the fun part – decorate with your favorite papers and embellishments!

Having Fun in the Sun!

Warm weather is here and I was super excited to create something with our adorable Beach Babe Fhiona!

Things are coming together here at ‘Your Next Stamp’ and we are just so excited to launch our website we just can’t stand to wait any longer!!! Luckily we have my nieces stamping party to look forward to coming up in a few weeks. We are going to have so much FUN!

Our first batch of stamps have arrived along with some amazing paper, ink and crystals! All the stamps are awesome and I can’t wait for the launch of our website so that everyone can join in on our stamping fun with ‘your next stamp’!

The card shown above is an example of the card we are going to make at my nieces stamping party in a few weeks! I had so much fun putting together this sample – the kids and parents are going to love making it too!

Plugging Away

Hello everyone

Well some exciting things have occurred these past few weeks! We have completed a few stamp designs and they have been sent off to be made into adorable rubber stamps for all your stamping pleasure! We can’t wait for their arrival! I know you will just LOVE them all!

We are still working on our website and new logo design which Fhiona has kindly agreed to create for us – YIPPEE!!! I’m sure it will be super funky with lots of sparkle!

I would like to thank my sister again for all her feedback as well as everyone else who has taken a look at our new designs – you all ROCK!

Here We Grow!

Hi everyone!

While we await the set up of our website I thought I would start a blog to document this wonderful and exciting business venture we’ve decided to embark upon. At first my small business idea was, well, small and geared towards selling cool and funky embellishments for card making and now it has grown into creating really COOL and funky rubber stamps as well as all my favorite card making supplies. When I say we I mean myself and my super cool big sister who I’ve leaned on through this entire process. I’m sure she is a little bit terrified to open her email everyday since I am constantly sending her emails that say “check this out” and “what do you think of this” and “can you do this for me?” We all know she too has a healthy addiction for rubber stamps and card making so I know she secretly loves all my emails and long phone calls. I actually would like thank my entire family for all their continued support and shared excitement, I really couldn’t do any of this without them. Love you all very much!

So far a lot has happened so here is a brief low down…I’ve located all the baubles and bling for Your Next Stamp store as well as Copic markers and really cool ribbon and paper but I have to admit the most exciting find is Fhiona Galloway! She has designed the most adorable stamp character ever and we just love her! This rubber stamp character is so sweet and cute that we decided to name her after her designer 🙂 We hope to launch this exciting new line of “Fhiona” stamps this summer. Trust me when I say you will just adore her and all the fun adventures she will take you on during all your card making bliss!

Also in the works we’ve got some Alicia Charlton, Franfou and hopefully a few others that are in the pipeline designing some super cute and funky stamp designs that we hope will please many different card making styles. We can’t wait to see what they come up with!

I will visit here often to document all of my exciting progress! In the meantime happy stamping everyone!
