YAY! The long weekend is here which means my hubby is home for 3 days and that gives me more time to play with all the new rubber that just arrived – he he he! Don’t worry we’ll have some sneak peeks for you really soon!
Also the long weekend means Fantasy Football Draft around here! Yep you heard me right, if you can’t beat em’ join em’! I used to complain about football season so my hubby started a fantasy football league with all our friends and family so that I would be entertained while watching football. I got totally suckered into this!!! My fantasy team made it to the Superbowl 2 years ago and just missed out last year…this really upsets my brother in law cause check out how I pick my team members…
- do I like the color of the teams jersey
- do I think their name is cool (Cadillac is on my team and so is Toushy – well that’s what I call him anyway)
- are their butts firm – this really should be #1
- does my hubby rave about how good they are and he can’t believe no one has them on their team – I use this info and steal them from the waiver wire before he can – ha ha ha – last year I got Hightower this way – shhh our little secret!
So wish me luck on Sunday – that’s draft night 🙂

Karen I’m still laughing at your post. We did our draft last weekend. But I’m with you the first year I played fantasy football my criteria was much like yours. LOL The name of my team is Pink Twinkies. Needless to say the guys in the draft were not really fond of my team name. But the best part was that I won that first year. It was SO FUN!! It was a league from work so when I won I stuffd pink zingers in everyones desk. Good luck on your draft.

HAHAHA!!! I LOVE IT! I was the same way when it came to choosing the Nascar driver I’ve now been a fan of for 15 years. I loved Jeff Gordon’s car, thus I became his fan lol! My hubby is huge into fantasy football, but I’ve never given that a go. I do love to fill out the brackets for NCAA basketball though : ) Super cute cards! Have a great weekend and fun draft!

My aunt does fantasy football too and picks her teams the same way? She especially likes the ones that have “funny” names. LOL
