Welcome to the Your Next Stamp January New Release Blog Hop! Our hop will run from today until January 25th at midnight EST and I’ll announce the winner of the blinkie contest and the hop winner on January 26th.
I am so excited about this new release! Actually I’m always excited about our new releases *grin* but this release is so totally cool and such a great way to kick off the new year!

Well it’s no secret that I love glitter and all things that sparkle so when it came my turn to host the YNS challenge I just couldn’t help myself! Challenge #8 is all about Sparkle! As long as you’ve got sparkle on your card or creation you can join in the fun!

Hi Everyone!
January really did sneak up on me and I have admit I had a little bit of the ‘holiday brain’ so I wasn’t very organized coming back to work after the holidays – sorry!

Since I’m in organization mode I thought I share some pics of the new YNS office/craft room! It still needs the YNS logo, some curtains and few more wall hangings but this is what it looks like so far. I’d like to thank my wonderful hubby for helping me paint and organize plus he’s the one who put together all the furniture! IKEA stuff is fun but it comes in multiple boxes so you can assemble is at home – there were a lot of boxes!

Good Morning!
I can’t believe that YNS Challenge #7 is already here! Actually it’s hard to believe that 2010 is already here! LOL I found this past year went by so quickly especially with a busy little almost 2 year old who keeps me hopping 24/7 well actually he does finally go to bed at 7 pm but there are no naps in his play routine – darn! He does have quiet time with his favorite show which changes weekly and with that said I just have to share with you what happened yesterday…
He decided to break through the child lock we have on the dvd cabinet {which is there because he likes to play with the discs} and he broke his ‘right now’ favorite dvd so to all the mom’s out there yes I had a pity me moment because there was no quiet time yesterday! He’s too young to understand why I couldn’t put the dvd in the machine so he just kept pestering me until I convinced him to throw the case in the trash – out of sight out of mind! That only took me about 3 hours – LOL Hopefully he’ll pick a new favorite show to watch today and not be looking for the one he threw out!
Today is a special day for a friend so I would like to take a moment to wish Jen D. all the best since today is the day she goes into the hospital to deliver her sweet baby boy – good luck Jen! We can’t wait to find out his name!

I used Bad Hair Day Fhiona for my card and I made my own background paper using all the cute little stamps that come with this set. I’ve embossed all the little images for some added pop. I also used the new Basic Grey Sugar Rush designer paper and glazed brads which ROCK! Also since my new craft room is finally functioning {I’ll share pics soon} I decided to make this card following Simonne’s super cool sketch from Sketch Saturday as well! It’s always fun to combine challenges!

Happy New Year!!!
I really wanted to post a New Years card but instead I’m posting a picture of the future Your Next Stamp craft room. All my crafting goodies are in limbo so I hope you like the little sneak peek of the YNS blue room! YAY! It was totally a builders white before so this is just a tad bit brighter and I love it!
Also here is a super cute photo of Brandon with his new drum set! He had so much fun this Christmas and so did we and I hope you did too!
I look forward to all the fun times ahead in 2010!

I just wanted to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas!
I made lots of fun gift tags and cards this year so I thought I would share with you the tag I made my wonderful hubby Chris. He just adores the Bob the Beaver stamp so I decided to alter him a tad and put a Santa hat on him!
Thank you for all your support since we opened YNS on August 7th 2009. I know you will just love what we’ve got in store for you in 2010!

It’s time for another YNS Challenge! YAY! The very talented Starlet Kerri had a super awesome sketch for us this time and I just instantly feel in love with this layout! Thanks Kerri!
I used Little Isabel and her friend Snowman on my card {this stamp is named after my darling 18 month old niece} along with some really pretty dp Christmas Mint Cocoa Cluster {the name alone makes you want to just eat it up! lol }. I coloured her in with Copics and then added some stickles for some sparkle. Just in case you’re wondering about the sentiment ‘Just for You’ is from the Flying High Fhiona stamp set.
