Hmmm, well we went on vacation to the Bahamas over Valentine’s Day and we were sitting at the pool talking about what restaurant we would go to try in town for Valentine’s Day. The people beside us overheard us and informed us it was 2 days before. Apparently, we lost track of our days somehow (possibly the piña coladas) and ended up celebrating it on the 16th. Eeeks

I would say my most memorable Valentines would be when I was stuck in a motel room in Wisconsin after a surgery where I was not allowed to fly home for several days. Knowing this would happen I took good old fashioned grade school valentine making supplies (ie. red and pink paper, doilies, school glue-before I started stamping) and made valentines for friends and family.

Aww such adorable and darling creations!! Loved hopping along all of the blogs 🙂
My Valentine’s memory dates back to school times where kids used to tease based on the color of the dress you wear on Valentine’s day 🙂 Usually green is a signal to say yes to the proposal! It was so much fun teasing and pulling someone’s legs 😀

cards are adorable! loved them all. My best Valentine memory…was the first Valentine with my husband (at the time my boyfriend). We were in a long distance relationship at the time. He mailed me a red rose and many cards with the most thoughtful words he wrote inside them. I was 40 then and it was the first time for me that I received anything at all for Valentines. It meant a lot that he took the time to do that. I still have that big envelope, all the cards and that rose after all these years!

    These are simply adorable!
I wanted to give my parents a trip to Hawaii, but couldn’t afford it, so bought them a Hawaii picture book instead. In the back I put two tickets… They flipped out – even when it was just for a Bahamas cruise… as close as I could come. They got me a ticket to go along as ‘photographer’ It was a fun trip!

Fabulous and fun cards! A favorite Valentine memory I have is as a family we do a Crazy Cupid’s Cafe together. We all help prep a fun meal with about 8 items and serve it in 3 courses. We randomly select #’s off a menu that I match to a master menu that corresponds to either a food item or like a fork. You never know if you will get dessert first or perhaps just a fork and spoon for your first round 😉

I love the cards! those blue eyes on the first Panda are amazing! I don’t really have a most memorable Valentine’s day, unless it would be the one where I was pregnant with my 3rd baby and my husband gave me a wallet for Valentine’s day at the suggestion of the secretary at work. It was not a good idea…. And before you ask, no, there was no money in the wallet, lol.

    LC Lamothe says:

Because my birthday is in the summer and lots of friends were away when it came time to have a party, my Mom would organize a Valentine’s party every year instead. She would decorate while I was sleeping so it was always exciting to get up on Valentine’s morning and see how lovely things were. I also loved having a cherry chip cake or cupcakes with pink strawberry icing 🙂

  42. 42

Adorable cards and inspiration from the design team! My most memorable Valentine’s Day was when my husband and I were dating and he bought me the Shel Silverstein book The Missing Piece. He wrote a very sweet note on the inside about how he had finally found his “missing piece”. That was 11 years ago and I still keep that book on my nightstand.

You’ve outdone yourselves with share the love cuteness! So inspiring! My favorite Valentine’s memory was when my dad, a no nonsense dairy and grain farmer who didn’t pay much attention to any holiday, surprised all of us at breakfast one Valentine’s Day with heart-shaped boxes of chocolates setting on each of our plates. He was grinning from ear to ear as we all exclaimed over this wonderful surprise!

I wish I had a fun or interesting Valentine memory to share but I can’t think of anything other than going out to dinner, receiving a card, flowers, chocolates, etc., which is pretty standard. Love all of your cards! I think Jane’s was my favorite! One of my favorite memories of Valentines was just last year when I had 4 of my 5 grandchildren here and we made Valentines for their parents. I got out all of my scrap paper and bought some foam red hearts and they cut and glued till their hearts were content. We had so much fun and the mom’s and dads Loved they funny “special” Valentines.❤️️❤️️❤️️

I love the cards and all the hearts…
    A memory worth sharing….
Well Valentines Day was always such a hard day for me as the men in my life always seemed to ruin it….until that one time when the man I was dating took me out to a restaurant, ordered me wine, and even ordered my dinner, which I thought was forward but was so awesome because the wine was awesome and the meal he chose was wonderful.
I love hearts and so this day should be my favorite but it wasn’t until that night…

We went back to his place for drinks where he served some expensive champagne, as he learned that I loved champagne. We talked all. Isn’t and bonded and It was a night to remember. i decided instead of calling it Valentine’s Day I would call it Happy Heart Day, as he brought my heart back…
