Hello! Kerri here with another way to use your YNS Dies:) You can use dies not only to cut out shapes, but also to emboss! Today I used the fabulous Insta Love Polaroid Die Set to create a CAS card.
First tape the die to the area of paper you’d like to emboss with the cutting edges face up away from the paper.
I use the Big Shot for my die cutting/embossing. To emboss I open to Tab 1 and add a cutting plate.
Place the die cut taped to the paper face down with the cutting surface down towards the cutting plate.
Add an embossing mat over the top of your paper.
Then add your second cutting plate.
Run it through the machine to emboss!
I stamped a sentiment from the YNS set Moving Ellie over the raised area and here is my card.
