Guest Karen Aicken is taking over the blog today and sharing a magical card!
Hello Everyone!
I have a magical birthday creation for you!
The Confetti Panel Die is perfect for any celebration, and here I cut it from white card stock. Before adhering it to a slightly smaller piece of the bright green card stock, I cut small squares of white glitter paper and adhered them on the back side over each of the star shaped openings. It’s very subtle in the photos, but gives a lot of extra sparkle to the card in real life. The stamped and cut out Magical Pony was adhered to a Stitched Wavy Circle with foam tape, then the Stitched Wavy Circle was attached to the card front with an Action Wobble. I love how it bobs and wobbles around on the card.
I white embossed the sentiment from the Photo Booth Stamp set onto one of the new Stitched Fishtail Banners and added that to the card with foam tape. Finally, I added a few sparkly Gumdrops!
Of course I also decorated the inside of the card. A greeting from Whatnot Sentiments Set Thirteen was stamped onto the Stitched Fishtail Banner and I added a sweet pink Gumdrop and a smaller Stitched Wavy Circle as a place to write a message and sign.

Kulbir Kirkland
Hi, I’m Kulbir living in beautiful Ontario Canada. I am a mother of 2 teenagers that keep me very busy. In my spare time I love escaping to my craft space to unwind and enjoy experimenting with all types of medium; my favourite is coloring with Copics, water coloring and making all things rainbow. Hope you enjoy what I create this month using the awesome products by YNS. 🙂
Karen Aicken
Karen Aicken here, from Alberta Canada. I love making cards – especially interactive ones and I post on my blog daily. I also donate birthday cards each month to my Mom’s nursing home and I love bright happy colours and images. That is what draws me to Your Next Stamp – their images have so much character and are so fun to create with!
Karen and Kulbir will be jumping right in and joining our April new release preview post TOMORROW! Yes, new stamps and dies are on the way, plus there are new gumdrops too.
Happy Stamping!
We are starting off the week with more inspiration from guest designer Svetlana Pavlova! This time around, Svetlana created an interactive card that showcases more of her creativity and talent!
A bit about me:
I’m Svetlana and I am from Russia. My family and I live in the wonderful city of Moscow. My family is my castle and my inspiration. I fell in love with card making and adore everything about it. I can’t imagine any day without cards and colours. I am so happy to be joining YNS as a guest for a few projects.
“Hello everybody! It’s my second publication as a guest designer and I made an interactive card. The idea is that at any time the coffee shop is open for you. A sweet bear at the bar is ready to make you your favorite coffee.”
The interactive circle shows day with the rainbow. When the circle is turned, the rainbow turns into the night. I used the cute stamp set “Coffee Cart” and coloured with distress markers.”
I drew the rainbow and constellation freehand.

Hello! Today is a very exciting day for me!
I’m a guest designer these days!
I really like Your next Stamps’ designs! They have great quality and the characters are so cute!

Today, I am sharing 2 cards made from the same stamp set, “Blossom”.
There’s a cute puppy playfully watching the birds on the first card.
The whole composition is colored with COPIC sketch alcoholic markers.
The second card is made using this set, too. I just removed the puppy.
I stamped cute birds sitting on a branch on watercolor paper. Everything was painted with watercolor zig markers. The card is filled with spring and already has its own little story! Kraft paper gives comfort and warmth to the work as you can see!
Thank you for your attention!
Which card do you like more?

Hi, I’m Alma and I live in Germany. I feel so honoured to be part of this DT for March. Since 2009, cardmaking and stamping is my favourite hobby. Especially using bright colours. Typically I combine a lot of stamps to create a little scene. I love the stamps from YNS because the images are so cute, funny and unique, so you have a lot of possibilities to use them.
Welcome Alma! We look forward to seeing more of your creations this month.

Jen Nelson
Jen here.. By day I am a strategic business manager for an engineering company, but in my spare time I escape with my two cats to the craft studio to dabble with my creative side. Clean and simple in style with a few exceptions to that rule if the mood takes me. I’m really excited to be joining the team as guest designer this month and hope you enjoy my makes.
Welcome Jen! We look forward to seeing more of your creations this month.

Mindy Eggen is today’s guest and she has done a bit of masking and stacking!
Mindy shows that a single stamp set can go so far. The varied tilting of each cup along with the rainbow of colors makes each cup unique.
Thank you for sharing your creativity with us this month Mindy!
