Happy Monday Everyone!
We are excited to start off the week welcoming guest Marilyn Scheller!
We first saw Marilyn’s work because she frequently plays along with the YNS challenges. We know her cards are always smile inducing and full of fun, so we can’t wait to share her creations with you this week. Scroll on down to learn more about Marilyn and see her cool card!
My name is Marilyn and I live in a small city in Saskatchewan, Canada where it’s COLD in the winter and HOT in the summer. I have always been crafty and enjoyed many creative outlets such as sewing, crochet, macramé, painting and now finally found the perfect fit for me which is stamping and paper crafting. I began my stamping journey in 2010 and haven’t looked back since. My favourite colouring medium is Copic markers but I also use pencils and have dabbled in watercolour and I enjoy card making and the wonderful people I have met along the way.
Marilyn’s first creation features the Clucking Cool stamp set which is on sale in the YNS Store right now!
Are you ready for more creations from Marilyn? Stop back tomorrow for a duo who are definitely camera ready!

Did you see all the amazing creations our September release guest Allison Arbour shared?! We thought you might like to learn a little more about Allie. Plus, when she offered to make another project, of course we said ‘yes’!
Thank you Allie for joining us again today.
Here is Allie with more…
I’ve been crafting for years and after dabbling in all sorts, from dollhouses to jewelry, I settled on cards and have been happy hanging out in the paper world ever since. I’m a mom of one awesome son who gave me a even more awesome grand baby. I love animals, big, little, it doesn’t matter, I love them all. At present I have 4 cats and one pot bellied pig who keep me entertained when I’m not crafting or getting grand baby snuggles. I like to spend my free time watching Netflix or outside in nature in leggings, with coffee for both of course.
To create the card base use a circle die on a folded card base. Leave the top of the circle slightly overhanging above the score line. Run through die cutting machine.
I started by ink blending a panel using distress oxide inks and splattering with picket fence oxide ink.
Next I used a scallop circle die cut in white card stock and glued the large inked circle panel directly on top.
Using a smaller white scalloped circle frame I attached the small Star Circle Frame Die cut directly on top with glue and added to my card base with foam tape to create more dimension.
I coloured and cut hammie and attached him to the card with an action wobbler and glued down popcorn pieces.(when he wobbles it’s like he is spilling them)
I finished the card with a sentiment and added the card base to the back of my rainbow stack.
I hope you enjoyed my take on a fun mini circle card.

Did you see all the creations from our March new release guest? Thank you Kelly Santifor joining in the fun and sharing your creativity with us for the release!
Let’s learn a little more about Kelly and see another card she created just for this release!
I’m Kelly Santi and I am absolutely delighted to be the March new release guest designer for one of my favorite companies … YNS! I just love the whimsical and sweet stamps from Your Next Stamp and there is truly something for everyone!
I have have been creating for as long as I can remember, from crayons to calligraphy and settled into the cardmaking hobby about 20 years ago. My favorite types of cards are ones with bright, vivid colors and I enjoy creating scenes with my cards. The joy of being able to share something handmade with someone and brighten their day just makes me smile! I adore learning new card techniques and hanging out with my crafty friends on social media and zoom to create together!
My card today is using Spring Smiles and I’ve created a Peek-A-Boo style card for my mom 🙂
I’ve used several dies to create the card and a ‘porthole’ to let a little of the envelope of flowers peek through. I’ve added patterned paper as an accent and colored the sweet flowers and butterflies with copic markers!
It’s been so wonderful to share my cards with you this March release!

We are excited to welcome special guest, Amy Young!
We saw Amy’s work on Facebook and were amazed. Her ability to create a background by hand is astounding. The scenes she creates with her strong coloring skills made us say wow! Scroll on down to learn more about Amy and check out the scene she created with YNS Stamps.
Amy Young
Hi, I’m Amy and while I’ve been drawn to color and creating pretty things from a very young age. It wasn’t until eleven years ago, that I got my first Copic markers and fell in love with stamping, coloring and card making. I have pretty eclectic tastes when it comes to stamps, ranging from cutesy to more mature images, though there always has to be a critter or character of some sort. I love to get creative and put together fun scenes using stamps so that each card I make tells its own story. When I’m not getting crafty you can find me at my day job grooming and boarding dogs or curled up with one of my kitties reading a good book.
Amy’s first guest card features the stamp set Swan-derful.
The trees, the sky, the water, the cat tails…we could go on and on. We are in love with it all!
Amy will be back tomorrow with another card featuring birds…can you guess which set?

Today we are welcoming back frequent guest Ushii! This time around, Ushii is getting us ready for the holidays with a few Christmas projects! The phrase Christmas in July is a popular one and with creations from Ushii, there is amazing inspiration guaranteed!
I’m Ushii and I’m super excited to be a guest designer for Your Next Stamp! Who am I? A crafty girl, trying to find a happiness in every moment of life I live in Poland and I’m an architect. As far as I remember, I’ve always loved to design, create, alter, paint, sew something… Ten years ago I discovered scrapbooking and cardmaking with all the colorful papers, embellishments and cute stamps – and I fell in love! I usually have five ideas at the same time, I love to try new techniques, new things and visit new places … and besides, I love good company, good wine and good books My favorite tools are Copics, Zig Clean Color markers and watercolors, as I love coloring stamps! But I like funny dies and stencils a lot, too. My projects are usually sweet, colorful and joyful.
This card is a combination of a few stamp sets. I used the beautiful door stamp from the Deck the Halls set and created a snowy scene with some stamps from two other sets. The snowman is from the Santa Express Train Carts set and the birds are from the Holiday Wreaths set. I must admit I love these birds and use them a lot in non-Christmas cards!
I stamped everything with a very light ink and colored it with the no-line technique. To add dimension, I adhered some parts of the door and other card elements with 3d foam tape. At the end, I stamped the sentiment from the Home for the Holidays set and added white paint splatters to make my card look like winter with snow.

Ushii Landia, one of our April guests, is sharing her final card for the month. This one is full of love, featuring Ushii’s signature style! It is also a great example of how to combine stamp sets, as there are critters from 3 different stamp sets on Ushii’s card.
Today I want to show you a card with the cute mouse from the So Mush Fun set. I combined it with a deer from the Oh, Deer! set and birds from the Holiday Wreaths set.
All critters were colored in no-line technique with Zig markers. I blended my background with two Distress Oxide inks and stamped a sentiment in brown from the So Mush Fun set… and my card was ready!
Thank you Ushii for joining us again this month! We always enjoy having you as a guest and your creativity is always inspiring!
At first I planned it to be an interactive card, but when I laid my colored critters on a card base it looked so sweet that I didn’t want to change anything 😀
