It’s time for another YNS Challenge! YIPPEE! I’m your hostess for challenge #22 and since tomorrow is our 1st birthday hop celebration I decided that our theme should be BIRTHDAYS!
I decided to ink up Hula Hoop Fhiona for this special occasion! I love her…she just makes me smile! I used some of her fun accessory stamps to create the dp and had so much fun colouring the images in using one of my new fav finds…twinkling H2O’s! I’ve been trying to get my hands on some these shimmery paints for the longest time and let me tell you…it was worth the wait! I love them!!! No, I’m not affiliated with them nor did anyone send me some so I could brag about them…I just saw them in an Australian craft magazine and knew I had to get my hands on some!
The sentiment is actually from the Dale Design stamp set Make a Wish and I thought it was quite fitting for this card. Plus, I have to give a shout out to Simonne because she gave me the idea to bling up Fhiona’s hula hoop, clink this link to check out her awesome sparkly hoop creation in the YNS gallery! Thanks hun!

Hi, my name is Andrea but I also go by Andi. I have been married to my best friend for 16 years and we have 2 daughters. Our house is always filled with laughter as we all like to think we are comedians and try to out do each other at making our family laugh! I have been papercrafting for about 10 years now and my addiction hasn’t slowed down a bit! I am not sure what I do more though- buy supplies or actually create- it may be tied! I am even getting better at using my pretty paper and ribbons and not just hoarding it lolz! My favourite medium to work with are copic markers and I love to find new ways to use stamps to show their versatility. My daughters like to craft with me and I have even learned how to share my copic markers without having my eye twitch hee hee! I fell in love with YNS images as they were so fun not only for me to play with but my daughters went nuts over them! They have such a fun whimsical look to them that they are a great addition to my crafting collection. I am so excited to be part of YNS’s August team!

Since our challenge this week over at the YNS challenge blog is to make an easel card I thought I would have some fun and create a shaped easel card! Thanks for this fun challenge Cabio! I keep seeing these shaped easel cards all over blog land and I’ve always wanted to make one so I finally went for it! LOL

It’s time for YNS Challenge #21! Our hostess this week is the very talented Cabio and she has challenged us to make Easel Cards! I really enjoyed this challenge because it forced me to make something different rather than a traditional shaped card which I seem to lean towards most of the time.
I’ve used Rainbow Swing Fhiona on my easel card – isn’t she just too cute!?!

I just couldn’t resist sharing this super fun and creative smores bag created by Kerry Urbatch which just happens to be the featured project right now on PCP! Kerry used the adorable Fhiona’s Tent stamp and created a yummy smores bag…how creative! I think this is a must have for all campers venturing out to the wild! I know I would be quite happy sitting by the camp fire munching away on some of these sweet treats!
