Holiday Presents

Guest Roslyn Jin is back with holly and Hammie!

Roslyn is sharing a creative holiday card today. That’s a birthday stamp set in the globe, but colored up with red and green, the presents are perfect for Christmas.

Roslyn used markers to create a tree behind Hammie. Plus, check out the holly on the globe, what a great way to use the die cuts from the Holly Berry Panel die.

I was introduced to scrapbooking by a friend of mine close to 20 years ago. Then as time went on, I got into making projects with my Cricut Explore machine and started to make cards. I stumbled on a video that sparked my interest in using stamps and dies to create cards. I’ve always been drawn to super cute images hence my love for Your Next Stamp.  I love to colour my stamped images with my copic markers and build cute scenes on my cards.  I invest my time and energy into each and every card I make. I live in Ontario, Canada and I love supporting my local craft stores and Canadian stamp companies.

Roslyn’s first card features lots of glitter and the Candy Cane Cat stamp set.

Roslyn cut the Mini Slim Diagonal Stripe Panel Die from red glitter foam. Then cut using the same die but from the back of green glitter foam so it was the opposite way. Layers of glittery fun!

Roslyn will be back tomorrow with more inspiration.

Ugly Sweater Season

It’s Saturday, which means we have a card from guest, Kate Ward! This is Kate’s last card as a guest, but we hope to continue seeing Kate share YNS creations in the future.

Kate created a video on how she created this card, which you can find HERE on You Tube.

Kate’s card for today is quite on trend. How many of you own an ugly holiday sweater and celebrate wearing it throughout the holiday season? Wouldn’t it be fun to create one on paper too?!

The best part about the Ugly Sweater set is that you can customize each sweater to your liking. Kate created 4 distinct sweaters, but there ware so many ways to mix and match (or not match! – it is up to you) with this set.

Thank you Kate for sharing your creativity with us over the past few weeks! We especially liked the videos that you created too!
