I decided to make a card featuring the new Spooktacular stamp (which I totally LOVE) and I was supposed to combine it with our current YNS Challenge #51 BUT I got crafting away and when I was done I looked at my card and did the old ‘forehead slap’ and went “DUH” because I didn’t paper piece anything!!! Although I did cover the cardstock shape I cut out in the middle of the card with DP – does that count? Oh, well I’ll make something new for you all and share it later this week!

Welcome back! I really hope you enjoyed our YNS Birthday Hop! It’s ok if you drooled all over your keyboard, I won’t tell anyone! I know I did when I saw all the stunning DT and Guest projects! WOW!!!
You should have all your puzzle pieces but before you submit your puzzle I’d like to share my hop projects with you!
First off I made a bright and cheery birthday card! I inked up Heather R.’s Make a Wish stamp set and added a little shine with my glitter pen and a little sparkle by adding some YNS Sparkly Flat Backs and YNS Glittered Skittles. Check out my floating flames! LOL I put it all together and forgot the twine to connect the flame to the candle! OOPS!
Next up is my new release project. I decided to ink up Fhiona’s new set Rainbows and Happiness for my card. I got out my sparkly Twinkling H20’s {which I totally heart} and then added some YNS Sparkly Flat Backs for some extra bling. The sentiment is stamped with my all time favorite stamp pad Calypso and the white cardstock is Cryogen White which has a built in shimmer. Oh and we must not forget the fuzz I added to the clouds – messy stuff to work with but so FUN! It’s hard to see all the sparkle in the photo but this card definitely twinkles!

Today for my hop creation I decided to ink up the amazing new Window Play – Outside!
I coloured all the pieces in with Copics and glazed the window before cutting everything out, then I pop dotted everything together so the window has a 3D effect. As a finishing touch I added a few flowers and fancied up the centers with some YNS glittered skittles. This set was so fun to play with and it has endless possibilities! Love it!!!
I’d like to say thank you to Oma, a fabulous YNS customer I had the chance to meet back in April, for suggesting the soccer stamp! YNS needed an adorable little soccer player – thanks Oma!

It’s new release day! YIPPEE!!! I’m so excited to be bringing you all these fabulous new stamps!!! I instantly fell in love with Fhiona Galloway’s adorable Flower Pot Fairies, Franfou’s little mice are always so cute plus be sure to check out Mini Chompy! Dale’s new box scenes are a wonderful addition to the YNS collection and we’ve got an incredible new sentiment set designed by Heather Rolin plus a fun handwritten set designed by myself and DT member Kerri! There are 14 new stamps/stamp sets in total and I hope you love them all as much as I do!

My hop project is featuring the new Franfou image Balloon Ride which I think is so CUTE! I made this card for Brandon’s birthday and since his favorite color is orange I just knew I had to paper piece the balloon with orange designer paper plus he loves buttons so I embellished some of the circles with buttons. He opened it up and said “ORANGE, BUTTONS…I LOVE IT!” LOL Just the reaction I was hoping for from my adorable little 3 year old.
