YNS Challenge #57 Winner and FUN Changes for 2012

It’s freezing cold here!!! I walked out of the the house this morning and instantly felt my ears and nose freeze! I hope it’s warmer where you are and if not let’s try and stay inside where it’s warm and stamp our little hearts out! YAY!

Today I get to announce the final YNS Challenge Winner! I’m not sad that our challenges are ending because we’ve got lots of FUN and INSPIRATION planned for 2012 and I just know you are going to love it all!!!

Here is just a peek at some of the new things to look forward to…get your calendars ready as you will want to mark these dates or subscribe to this blog so you don’t miss a thing!

I decided to ink up the adorable Fhiona Galloway Design – Christmas Cutie! Don’t laugh but this little cutie totally reminds me of myself as a little girl! I had (still have) crazy curls and I was a little round at the belly and short too. I preferred my comfy cozy outfits but my mom always tried to dress me up cute for the holidays. I think I’ll give this card to my mom, she’ll love it!!!

Here’s a close up of all the sparkle – I decided to stamp the image onto cryogen white shimmer cardstock and then added some stickles to glitz this cutie up. The red velvet paper is one of my favorites that I’ve had stashed away for a few years now!!! You know what I’m talking about…we all have these crafting supply favorites that we tuck away and pull out when the time is right.

This 14 day holiday fun release has been SNOW FUN and apparently this adorable little bear designed by Franfou feels the same way!!!!

After a little fun outside sledding there’s nothing like getting all cozy by the fire with a cup of hot cocoa! Check out this beautiful Cozy Fireplace.

And here’s Jenny’s cute project using the Fireplace stamp and matching sentiment 🙂 🙂 
This stamp is great to color or paper piece!! 
Dale also designed some beautiful shaped sentiments for the holidays that are perfect addition to so many of the YNS stamps including the cozy fireplace…
I decided to pair up the circle warm wishes sentiment with a 2010 Holiday YNS release Merry Mouse Candle. I found this bag in my stash of goodies and decided to use parts of the snowflake border stamp to dress it up and then added the warm wishes tag and cute mouse.
