August is a big celebration month for Your Next Stamp so we have THREE monthly guest designers joining us! Please join me in welcoming Lisa, Kelli and Bonnie! Each of these designers has a different style and each is sure to make you smile.
Let’s get right to our first guest, Lisa Lara. Lisa’s clean and simple style is fresh and innovative. She really makes use of stamps in creative ways (including on her card today!).

Hi, I’m Lisa Lara. I am so happy to be guesting with YNS to play with their cutie patootie stamps and unique dies WHOO HOO. I am a clean and simple stamper. I like to have a main focal point and think outside the box to use stamps in a unique way to get the most out of them. I live in Washington state with the yummiest apples in the world. My husband and I are approaching three decades of marriage and have 2 adult children and a parrot. I have to create. It is in my DNA. Stamping is therapy for me. The stamping community is made up of just the nicest people. I am so lucky!
Here is her card that I mentioned earlier. Take a close at the lines acting as a border on her card. Lisa took the Stripe-tastic Edge stamp, stamped it in black and then colored in between the lines.

Hey there stampers! My name is Bonnie Sharp and I live on a farm in Ontario, Canada with my husband. When we are not farming we golf at least 3 times a week at our local golf course. We have three grown children and 4 grandchildren and they all live within a stone’s throw so we are the lucky ones for sure. Oh – and one more thing – I LOVE to stamp!!

This month is sure to be fun with three great designers joining us! Plus, we will have several guests joining us for the August release. Stay tuned for all the excitement. The new release previews start Saturday, August 6th and then we will be hopping (or jumping in excitement) from blog to blog on the 7th.
This week Tina’s card caught our eye with Waddles floating through the sky surrounded by clouds and a rainbow!
Tina’s water coloring creates softly colored clouds and a subtle background. She pulls in so many of the stamps from the set Waddles – Rainbow Fun, to create an adorable scene.

What a scene, with the hills and blue splatter filled sky. The limited color scheme lets the cuties take center stage. There is even a bit of whimsy with the addition of sequins.
