Today is YNS Challenge #12! YIPPEE!!! It’s also St. Patrick’s Day so HAPPY ST. PATTYS DAY!!! I’m part Irish and can’t believe I don’t have St. Patty Day stamps (note to self – create some for next year). I debated making a creative card using lots of green and shamrocks but I ended up with a brown and blue card instead which just happens to be one of my most favourite color combos!
Cabio is our wonderful hostess for Challenge #12 and she has challenged us to distress our cards and creations so I decided to ‘frey’ or should I say distress the edges around the blue cardstock and around the hugs sentiment. I used the gerber daisy from Rosemary’s Garden which just happens to be named after my Mom (look for a special new release just for her coming soon) and the hugs sentiment is from the Greeting set. I just love cute things so I just knew I had to add the adorable little dragonfly brad from Doodle Bug :o)
