Sylvie @kaliscards

Hello everybody, my name is Sylvie. As far as I can remember, I’ve always loved cards and paper in general. I started crafting Christmas cards over a decade ago, but it’s only about 3 years ago that I went really serious about cardmaking.

All my spare time is about cardmaking. What I like about it is that you can really unleash your creativity and free your mind while in the creative process. I get that same feeling as when, playing as a kid, you start telling yourself a story and create a world of yours feels like a cozy and secure bubble. Then, when I start stamping and coloring the card, it’s all about magic to see it become reality.

You can find out more about my world on my Instagram https://www.instagram.com/kaliscards/

I am amazed at how much power a simple piece of paper can have! It is a true therapy to me as it is soothing and comforting. But what truly fills me is how the recipients will feel when discovering the card: if I can bring a little joy to them or even put a smile on their face, I’m in heaven! Speaking of heaven, I could never thank Julie and Karen enough for inviting me as a guest! I love YNS stamps; they are fun and the characters are super cute.

Not sure why, but I find bunny stamps really cute in general and YNS bunnies are the cutest of all. I am a huge fan of this little bunny butt. In this card, I mixed two bunny sets: Sprinkles Coffee and Tea, and Coffee Cart. Though, in real life, I am more a cat person, I thought it would be fun to impersonate this rabbit to give you a hello. Hope you like it!

Thank you so much for joining us Sylvie and sharing your creativity with us all!

Happy Stamping!
