Sketch and Color Challenge #7

Happy Friday!

Time for a new sketch and new color challenge along with new inspiration from the design team to go along with it! We are already on challenge #7 and we have loved seeing how everyone interprets the sketches and color combos.

Remember, play along and you may just be the winner of a gift certificate to the YNS store!!!  Your Next Stamp’s Color and Sketch Challenge #7 is open for the next 2 weeks through February 19, 2015 midnight EST.

Feel free to swap out shapes.  We just need to see the basic sketch layout as the inspiration for your creation.

If it is colors you are looking for then we have a green combination to get you started!

If you choose the color combo, be sure to use at least 3 and feel free to add in neutrals.  The names of the colors are based on Bazzill cardstock, but substitute whatever you have that is close to it.

  • YNS’ bi-weekly challenge #7 ends on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at midnight EST

Challenge #4 Update

Hello!

If you were stopping by today to check out the winner of Challenge #4 you have just a bit longer to wait.  We decided to extend the challenge until January 8th to give the DT the holidays off.  This means you have more time to play along.  The winner of Challenge #4 will be announced on January 11th.

Have you finished your Christmas cards?

If not, then we have a new challenge to inspire you to finish them up.

For everyone who is finished, well, here is something to keep you busy!

Thanks to everyone who played along with our last challenge.  The winner will be posted on Sunday, so be sure to stop back and see if you are the lucky one!

Challenge #4 has both a sketch and color challenge to choose from.  This challenge runs through December 25, 2014 at midnight EST.

As promised, here is a sketch without circles on it!  Of course you can always use a circle in place of one of the rectangles.  Remember, it is okay to swap out shapes, we just need to see the basic sketch on your creation.

Now on to the new challenge!  Remember that there is always a sketch and color challenge to choose from.  This challenge runs through December 11, 2014 at midnight EST.

This week’s sketch contains circles again…I seem to be loving the circles lately, but I will be sure to switch it up for the next challenge.  Remember, you can change out the circles for any other shapes, we just need to be able to see the basic sketch in your creation.
