I hope you all had a Happy Halloween! Even though I am fighting a flu bug my son managed to make me laugh on Halloween with all his quirky little gestures. At first he wanted nothing to do with his monkey costume and then later on in the day he brought it to me and wanted me to help him put it on – that was so cute! Then as the door bell started ringing he realized all the other kids were dressed up and he wanted to hand out the candy so him and daddy handed out candy and then went to visit a few friends in the neighbourhood. The best part was on Sunday night when it got dark he wanted to put his costume on again and then he ran to the door waiting for all the kids and when no one came trick or treating he decided it was time to play with all the left over candy we had – what great fun it is to transfer candy from a bowl to a bag over and over again! The simple things in life are always the best things!
