Hello everyone! Laura here for another segment of the Design Team Q&A Series!
Q1: Tell us more about you, your family, and where you live…
A: I’m a stay-at-home mom to 3 amazing kiddos – 8 year old twin girls, and a very energetic 6 year old boy. I have been married for almost 12 years now, and we are currently living in sunny southern California (on the west coast of the USA). I LOVE to color! I always carried crayons and coloring books around as a child, and now, its Copics and stamps! It’s the best way to unwind at the end of a busy day.
Q2: When did you join the YNS Team?
A: I joined the team in January 2013… hard to believe it’s been 2 years already!! Time flies when you’re having fun! 🙂
Q3: What are your favorite YNS images?
A: This is impossible for me to answer!! I have never met a YNS stamp I didn’t like! When I first found YNS, I fell in love with the Fhiona and Ellie characters. While they are still a favorite, the selection has grown so much since then! I love everything by Macy, all of Cory’s Critters and Friends, and anything by Omnia Designs.
Q4: What are your favorite color combos?
A: I love bright colors! I am a big fan of Doodlebug papers, because they are bright and playful, and seem to match all of my favorite Copic colors. My favorite combos are probably blue with yellow, and pink with lime green. I also LOVE kraft! Someone once told me kraft was boring, but I never get tired of it! Kraft cardstock is as much of a staple in my craft room as white!
I’ve used one of my favorite combos on my project today, along with the adorable new Waddles – Happy Brrrthday set. My son loves penguins, and his birthday is only a couple months away, so I have a head start on some of the wrapping now!
I created a simple tag with the new Large Boomark/Tag Die Set. I used some scraps of Doodlebug paper, and popped Waddles up on the tag like he is floating away with his balloon!
