Hello YNS friends! I hope that your week is going well so far. Yesterday we said farewell to our May Guest Designers and today, I get to introduce one of our June Guests! So excited to have to have Lori on board with us this month.

My name is Lori and I live in rural central Alberta, CANADA. I have been paper crafting for the past 15 or so years and I also love crochet and x-stitch (when I can find the time LOL). I started my paper crafting journey as a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator (12 years) and have had the awesome experience of working with such amazing companies and their stamps along my journey after SU! When I’m not crafting I am busy with our crop spraying business, yard/garden work, volunteering for and cheering on my kids with their sports teams and just life in general….never seems to be a dull moment 😉

I was absolutely beyond giddy when Karen asked me to be a guest designer for YNS! Such fun stamps and a wickedly talented team! I am so eager to get started – thank you for having me!

Farewell May Guest Designers: Amy, Chitra and Kitty

Hello, YNS friends. Oh me, oh my – the month of May has gone by! We couldn’t welcome in June without saying farewell to our three lovely May Guest Designers. Please help me in sending off our three Guests in style:

Amy

We were very fortunate to welcome back Amy to be one of our guests this past month. This lady – you can give her three items and I bet she’d be able to create something amazing with her limited supplies! If you’re one that struggles with white space or CAS – Amy is your girl! Her projects were a party in my inbox each time I received them.

Chitra

We were so happy to welcome Chitra back for another month of being our guest! The simplicity in her designs are outstanding and her execution of card layouts are perfect. You’ll see that Chitra’s favorite images are our animal/critter designs and heck, who can blame her, they are all so fun.

Kitty

Last but not in any least, we are saying farewell to Kitty all the way over in the UK. This lady’s coloring matches her personality: beautiful! I enjoyed each one of her projects that came to my inbox. You can tell how much she loves our sweet new character, Jessica. I would hedge my bet that Kitty’s designs are inspired by her two cute daughters.

I am a wife, mom to three awesome kids and soon-to-be grandma who loves spending time with family and anything crafty in nature. I also work as a school based speech language pathologist and part-time church organist. I have lived in Wisconsin all my life and enjoy the changing seasons and cheering on my Packers, Brewers and Badgers. Happy Sunday, YNS friends! I hope that you’re enjoying your weekend so far. Today we’re welcoming our second Guest Designer for May:

My name is Kitty and I live on the south coast in Dorset, UK. I have been crafting I was a child and dabbled in everything from cross stitch to silk painting. My passion has become card making especially stamping. I am very lucky to have worked with lots of amazing companies and had three craft shops. I currently run My Mums Craft Shop in the UK. I also work for three uk craft magazines as a freelance designer.

When I’m not crafting I am usually busy with my two children or shopping for new clothes! I am so excited to join YNS as a guest designer and can’t wait to get started!

Hello. I am Chitra and I am super, super excited to be guest designing again for YNS.. Woooo Hoooo!! Thanks a ton Karen for inviting me!!! I am from Detroit, MI and I live with my husband. I started card-making in 2012 and then one day I started blogging so that I could join some challenges and now I love it. I love to color, it doesn’t matter what coloring medium it is but it is simply relaxing for me. I love creating bright and fun designs, I love to try new techniques and new styles… it’s fun. I am amazed of all the wonderful blogs that I see and I hope that one day my blog will be up to that level and it is my hope thru my blog to inspire others and to keep learning, growing & creating.
