Happy Monday, readers! We hope that you had a fabulous weekend surrounded by everyone and thing(s) you loved.
We have a fabulous feature from our special guest, Francine Vuillème:
Francine explains how she created this card:
I decided to create a card with the sweet bunny from the Sprinkles – Sugar Rush stamp set. I started out by sponging the left part of a white piece of cardstock with Peacock Feather Distress ink. I glued the panel onto a white card base and grounded the front with a strip of patterned paper. Rainbow colors are great with sweets! I then stamped the sentiment, from the Celebrate Sweetness stamp set, on the left in black ink. Next, I colored the bunny and the cute little candy with Copic markers and fussy cut them. I chose the paper piecing technique to cover the lollipop and I took the same paper that I used to ground my card. I adhered the bunny with foam pads onto the sponged area and the candy close to the sentiment for more cuteness!
If you would love to see more creations made by Francine, please head on over to her blog.

Hello and welcome to February, friends! We hope you enjoyed the last weekend in January. We have two very fabulous guests joining us all month long! Please help us in welcoming these ladies to the YNS family:
Hello fellow stampers!!! My name is Carolyn, and I have been a paper crafter for over 15 years. I am so excited to be guest designing for YNS for the month of February. I have 3 children {all grown up and only one left at home} and a very supportive husband with hobbies of his own. This leaves me lots of spare time for creating. I am part of a creative team for a card challenge blog. This keeps me inspired and creating new things. You can visit my blog at HERE. In addition to my crafting I LOVE to read and I am addicted to the sport of hockey!! Most evenings after 9pm, you will find me curled up with a book…..except for Fridays, I will be at the rink cheering on my favourite team.

Carolyn is bringing you a sneak peek of one of the stamp sets being released on February 7th; Heart Happy was previously a digital image only but will be available as a clear stamp set soon!
I am Teresa Kline, I have been creating cards for over ten years and I love the process; from being inspired, to shopping, to organizing, and finally creating! I have had the privilege of being on many design teams over the years. I am honored to be apart of Your Next Stamp team for the month of February and I am super excited to see what is to come! I truly enjoy sending my cards and love to encourage others with my work and inspiring words. I hope you look for me and my creations, you can find me on my blog, Paperie Blooms; Instagram – 2klines; Pinterest and SCS.

The end of the month means that we’re saying farewell to another guest designer. It was so awesome to have Valerie Ward join us this month as we welcomed the new year.
Hello, crafters, and Happy New Year! I am so thrilled to be guest designing for YNS! My name is Valerie, and my blog is ValByDesign; I’ve been crafting basically since I was a kid! But cards entered my life when I got a part-time job at a crafting store about 7 years ago. I have 4 kids {all teenagers right now (ages 13-18) – ugh – lol!}, 3 precious little dogs, a great hubby, and we live just north of Chicago, IL. I have a Bachelor’s in Architecture, have also been a substitute teacher for years, and I recently started a job as an Office Coordinator in a children’s dentistry office! When I’m not busy with work or family, you can ALWAYS find me in my crafting room!

Val has created this awesome card using one of our current favorite stamp sets, Java Geek:

Thanks for stopping in today! Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

The end of the month is drawing near and that means that it’s time to say farewell to our lovely guest designers.
Michelle Oatman and Salmina Viktoriya (Vika) were a pleasure to have as we rolled through the holidays. Vika – who received her stamps late and still continued to make fabulous cards after everything. We are so thankful to have such wonderful guests.
Please help us in saying farewell to these ladies. Here’s a final roundup of their projects:

Hello there! We are so happy to be posting this special project from one of our guest designers, Vika. She lives over in the Ukraine and the post has been very delayed on her end. She wasn’t able to join us for the December Release, but we still wanted to feature her creations with us.
Here’s a fun coffee themed card she made that would have been perfect for the Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop, too!
I bet for all of us coffee lovers, these were your exact sentiments this Monday morning.

Hello there, YNS friends! Thanh here kicking off a fun and fab new blog series with you. We are crediting Holly for her idea of featuring Your Next Stamp dies in gifts and holiday packaging. For the next couple of weeks, each of the Design Team members will be featured on the blog with a creative project showcasing different YNS dies. Make sure you come back to see all the different ideas we’ll be showing off.
No pressure here as I start the series, right?
I love the simplicity of kraft gift bags to hold gifts that I’m giving to friends and family. I have a stockpile of kraft bags to hold gifts! Although sometimes I feel they need a little more pizzazz, but it’s so easy to get creative and decorate the bag as needed.
Here is a close up of my finished gift bag and let me tell you how oh-so-simple this is. I made the cardstock the same size as an A2 size card. As a cardmaker, I’m used to working in an A2 format so that is what I stuck with.
Fo this project, I used the Peek a Boo Popper Dies to give the interactive/3D fun. I started by die cutting the poppers onto white cardstock. I die cut them twice, one to use a template so it gave me a frame of where to stamp the images and the other to actually use for the project itself.
I then used the frame to mark off where to stamp my images as seen below. It gives me an approximate area of where to line up my final images when stamping.
Sometimes, it takes more than one try to get it right! lol As you can see below, it took me four tries to get it right. It’s handmade and mistakes are allowed right?
I coloured the images using Copic markers (my favourite medium). Here’s the final product; it looks pretty boring from this point of view, but the idea is to have your recipient open it up for a little surprise!
Just like with any gift bag, I think these can also be resused and given away again! Or perhaps if you’re giving to crafty friend, they can recycle and make the bag decor into a card as it is exactly a card front size ready to be added to a cardstock base.
I hope that I’ve inspired you to use the Peek a Boo Poppers dies and to decorate your own gift bags! Please come back tomorrow and see what Julie will be showcasing.
If you have any questions, please drop them below! Take care.

We’re a day early, but that’s because we’ve got a little something special planned for you tomorrow! Make sure you stop by the blog for a fun series the Design Team will be featuring in the first half of December.
This December is a special one as we have two special guests joining us again this month to wrap up our final release for 2015! Please help me in welcoming these ladies to the YNS family for the month:
Howdy from South Texas! My name is Michelle Oatman; many know me as “MichelleO” or the Donkey Smiles lady. I have been very happily married for over 25 years to my best friend who is supportive of my obsession of crafting. We live in the country where we raise Miniature Donkeys, Dwarf Nigerian Goats and Toy Australian Shepherds. They are all my children, and are all spoiled rotten.
My crafting goes back to my childhood, days spent with my Grandma and then as I grew up watching my Dad, a professional graphic artist. I dreamt of the day I could own my own grown-up markers. That may be why I adore my Copics so much.
Summer of 2010 I lost my right eye to an accident. It has taught me a lot about myself, and the people around me. The support from everyone, both close to me and across blogging land, has made me a stronger person. And while learning to deal with my new vision I have learned to appreciate my crafting even more. I am blessed in so many ways – my husband, my family and friends. The life I live on the farm with so many animals. And to have found a hobby that give me so much happiness.

Hi! My name is Vika and I’m a crafter from the Ukraine. I have 3 cats and a lot of stamps, inks and cardstock! I love coloring my stamps using markers or watercolor. I also love working with paper. During the day, I also get to be creative as a wedding decorator.
Nice to meet you and I look forward to making cards using YNS products this month!
