I Spy YNS Saturday – Cheers

This week we spied the Holiday Cheers stamp set on a trio of cards created by Emily on Instagram (eamidgett).

The soft colors, combined with sparkle and shine make this card set delightful. The subtle snowflakes on the card base are so pretty and tie in perfectly with the spotlight shadowing behind each drink. Add in the great coloring of the images and there is is so much to like about this set! Be sure to check out the rest of Emily’s gallery there is a lot more to like there too!

Sketch and Color Challenge #25 – More Inspiration

Are you looking for inspiration? If yes, then you have come to the right place!

Are you looking for a chance to win a gift certificate to the YNS store ? If yes, then you are where you need to be!

Are you looking for a challenge? If yes, then you have found not just one, but two!

Challenge #25 is going on right now, with a sketch and color combo to choose from. You only need to pick one to inspire you, unless you really want to challenge yourself and combine the 2!

Challenge #25 is open through Thursday, October 29th at midnight EST. That gives you 2 weeks to play along for a chance to win a YNS gift certificate. One random participant will win a $15.00 gift certificate to the YNS store , plus if the winner uses YNS products on their creation they will receive an additional $5.00 on their gift certificate. We also select our favorite creation featuring YNS products from all participants and announce a “Top Pick”. The random winner and “Top Pick” will be announced on the YNS blog the Sunday following the challenge close. Link up a picture of your creation from your blog, gallery, etc. at the bottom of this post and you will be entered to win.

The Top Pick for Challenge #24 is this Christmas card created by Donna Rudy! Belive YNS Challenge What a fun card, with that cute sentiment. The sky background is wonderful. Donna did a great job of pulling together multiple stamp sets to create such a magical scene. Can you identify everything she used?

I Spy YNS Saturday – A Cake

This week we spied a card featuring a cake – nom nom. The cake may be pretty and fresh, with a sunny color combo and pearls to dress it up, but you definitely do not want to eat it.

Check out this creation by Anne Ryan. The yellow chevron against the blue is striking. The spray of pearls works perfectly with this stamp set, not overpowering it, the two look like they were meant to go together. The stamp Anne used is being re-released soon as a clear set titled Wedding Bliss.
