I Spy YNS Saturday – A Reindeer

This week we spied  a wonderful Christmas card on Instagram made by Christina Perrson aka Scrapkammaren.

Christina’s card makes a huge statement with a simple color scheme.  Sometimes less is more.

There may be few colors, but her card has so much texture with the snow, stars and bit of patterned paper.

We are always on the look out for YNS creations.  Your card could be featured here next week.

Have a great weekend.

Jill Norwood

Blog:  Greenwood Girls Cards

Hello my name is Jill Norwood and I blog at Greenwoodgirlcards.blogspot.com.  I love to stamp and am beyond thrilled to be guest designing for Your Next Stamp!  Thanks so much Karen and Designers for letting me join you for the month of November!

Here is a little info about me:  I have been crafting in one form or another since I was a little girl and have always loved paper and fiber arts.  I was married for 12 years to the love of my life Stuart,  whom my son and I lost to brain cancer in 2012.  It was during my husband’s long illness that I began to use my scrap booking supplies for card making and fell in love with stamping!!!!   I made lots of thank you cards for the many angels who helped us during this difficult time.  And in turn I became a part of this wonderful community of card makers and crafters who are the sweetest people in the world!   My son and I live in Seattle, Washington and love the Pacific Northwest with all of its natural beauty.  If I am not in my studio creating you can find me working at my son’s school, spending time with family and friends,  playing in my garden, crocheting, or curled up with a really good book and a lovely cup of coffee or tea.  I hope that you will be inspired by my projects! Happy Crafting!
Jill’s first card is a sweet one featuring the stamp set Jessica with Cupcakes.Jill intro

I Spy YNS Saturday – Hot Cocoa

Boo!   Happy Halloween!

This week’s I Spy is actually not a spooky card.   Not scary at all!   In fact, this one scores off the charts on the cuteness scale.

The creation we spied this week may be clean and simple, but the results are super sweet and sure to make you smile!

Check out Tricia Traxler’s card featuring Hot Cocoa Phoebe

HYCCT1525_by_T_Joy

Tricia does a great job of breaking up all the white on the background with subtle water colored snowflakes – genius!!!   Even Phoebe was water colored with markers.  Oh my cuteness!   Doesn’t this card make you want to run out and buy some water color markers right now???!!!

We are always on the lookout for YNS creations made by YOU!   Keep on crafting and sharing.

Congrats Shari!   Please contact Karen via the link at the bottom of the blog to claim your prize.  I promise the fact that Shari liked my card had nothing to do with random.org selecting  #1…unless there was a little telekinesis at work!

Have a great week and if you have some crafting time join in Challenge #25 for a chance to win a YNS gift certificate.
