Hi Everyone!   Did you check out our June New Release Blog Hop yet?   Today is the last day to leave comments along the hop for a chance to win a $25.00 Your Next Stamp gift certificate.   The hop starts on Anita’s blog here.

Sketch and Color Challenge #40 – More Inspiration

Happy Friday!

Challenge #40 is going on right now.   You have until Thursday, June 9th at midnight EST to play along.  We have a sketch and sweet color combo to choose from.  Pick the one that inspires you, unless you really want to challenge yourself and combine the two!  Plus, the best part is you might win a gift certificate to the YNS store by playing along.

One random participant will win a $15.00 gift certificate to the YNS Store, plus if the winner uses YNS products on their creation they will receive an additional $5.00 on their gift certificate.  We also select our favorite creation featuring YNS products from all participants and announce a “Top Pick”.   The random winner and “Top Pick” will be announced on the YNS blog the Sunday following the challenge close.   Link up a picture of your creation from your blog, gallery, etc. at the bottom of this post and you will be entered to win.

PLUS…if you are using YNS products on your creation why don’t you take the YNS Social Media challenge too?! You don’t need to create a different project, simply add your Challenge #40 entries to IG, SCS or FB.  Check out all the details in the rules at the bottom.

Welcome June 2016 Guests

We have two guests joining us for the month of June.  Please join me in welcoming Ashley Abelson and Tina Henkens!

Ashley and Tina have both had work featured on the YNS blog before.   Ashley’s while as a special release guest and Tina’s on I Spy YNS Saturday.

Hi my name is Ashley or better known as Sparkly CanadianCraftyGirl on YouTube. I am so excited and honored to be a guest designer for Your Next Stamp for June.
I live in Ontario, Canada with my husband (who is also my high school sweetheart). We’ve been married for 6 years, together for 14 years. We have 2 little chihuahuas, Daisy and Diego. I enjoy all types of crafts: card making, scrap booking, knitting, crocheting, DIYs, and sewing. I would describe my crafting style as ‘cute’. I love to create bright, colourful projects. Scene cards and paper piecing are my favorite. I can’t wait to share with you all of my projects that I’ve come up with for the month! Hugs, Ashley

Hi! My name is Tina and I’m a card maker from Belgium. This hobby is fairly new to me. About two years ago I watched a card making video on YouTube and I was hooked immediately.  Luckily I have a very supportive husband and daughter!
During the week my job takes up must of my time so I usually craft during the weekend.
I’m a big fan of whimsical stamps, especially cute critters.
My other hobbies are reading, taking our dog Mira for a long walk and learning to play the piano. Thank you so much Karen for inviting me this month!

A Goodbye and a HUGE Hello to Martha Tucker

Normally at this time of the month we would be saying goodbye to our May guest designer Martha Tucker.   We did not want to say goodbye to Martha though, so we asked her to join the Design Team and she said YES!

Sketch and Color Challenge #39 – Winner!

I Spy YNS Saturday – A Deer

This week we spied a layered card topped by a deer from Handmade by Julie.

There are so many layers on Julie’s card, from the mats to the banners.   The use of white throughout her card allows it to remain bright, with the deer from the stamp set Oh Deer as the focus.    More of Julie’s creations can be found on her blog here or Instagram.
