Our May guest Samantha Olden has a spring card filled with flowers to share with everyone.

Yay, it’s a long weekend here in Canada. An extra day on the weekend is always a good excuse to find some crafty time. Today I am sharing a card that uses the versatile ‘Spring Window Die’ that Your Next Stamp just released.

I thought that the little flower die in the set is perfect to use with the alcohol pearl inks that I recently bought. I selected a rainbow of colours and simply created large splats of alcohol pearl on yupo paper. I then repeatedly die cut the flowers and leaves out of the splats until I had a collection of them to lay out on the card.

I kept the background quite clean to show off the white glitter window and of course the shimmery flowers. It is hard to capture the shimmer of the pearls, but hopefully the close up image gives you a sense of how shimmery and colourful the pearls make these cute flowers.

To finish off the card I added some gems and voila you have a sparkly shiny spring garden card.
